Holly
Holly is a very sweet girl. She can be a little shy in new situations but is very friendly and gentle once she has gained her confidence. She travels well in the car and is able to be left at home for 4 hours without any problems. Updated: Tue 20th Jul 2010 17:19:42 |
Mertyl
Mertyl is a lovely dog. She is very calm and gentle and needs a nice quiet, loving home. Mertyl is good with other dogs, possibly even cats and would best be suited to a home with teenage children or older.  Wilf
Wilf is a lively boy and needs training and socialising. he is full of fun and loves to play but he is a big chap and he needs an experienced Mastiff owner who is willing to put in the time needed to turn Wilf into a well trained boy.  Wrinkles
Wrinkles is a lovely boy in the home. He is very friendly with people and children as young as 7yrs+. He needs a confident, experienced owner who will be firm but kind. He requires lots of socialising with other animals to help him become a calmer boy when out walking. He is best homed as an only pet. Wrinkles is currently in a home so if you would like to meet him or just would like to speak to our staff to discuss him further please call 01732 865530 10am-3pm. Here is what his owners have to say about Wrinles. Wrinkles is a very sweet and gentle boy. He is the perfect house guest, calm, quiet, affectionate and just happy to have company. He is great with people, slightly wary of men when he sees them for the 1st time, and groups of lively children, but he is always gentle and loves being stroked. We have trained him to 'sit' 'leave' and 'look at me' for meaty treats and he is very proud of himself. He is a very loyal and devoted dog. The reason he needs rehoming is that he doesn't like other dogs at all. We think he is scared of them but he wants to scare them off rather than run away. We are finding it very difficult to walk him, as we always meet other dogs where we live and he gets very upset, especially if a dog off lead takes him by surprise, and he's a strong boy. If he could have long walks free from dogs, and someone patient and experienced enough to help him gradually socialise, he would be much happier.  Ollie
Ollie is a typical Jackie, who needs an experienced Terrier owner. At present he is not good with other dogs, doesn't like cats and we would prefer not to home him to a home with children as he is sometimes unpredictable, but may mellow with some gentle training and socialising. He is quite a dominant chap who needs a kind owner willing to put in time to teach this dog new tricks, (yes it can be done!! He is very intelligent and willing to learn. Denna is a lovely old lady. She does has a heart condition but it is under control. She needs a loving home to retire to, she is good with other dogs and cats and children as young as 3 yrs old. She is housetrained, travels well and is a dear little creature. We rescued her from being PTS by a heartless ex wife. This pair are to be homed from their home. Owners have moved abroad and they are currently being fostered. Both are good with other dogs and young children. Falcor is a very friendly, playful girl. She loves lots of exercise and affection. He is very friendly and would benefit from further training and plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Wilson is very lively and playful. He can be dominant and also food possesive, therefore he would be best suited to an experienced dog owner who will be confident with him and be able to train and socialise him. Zola is best homed as the only pet. She is a lovely, friendly girl, calm and quiet. But she is playful once she knows you. She tries to be dominant at times so will need a confident owner, possibly one who has experience with Shepherds.
