Baxter was a lost stray and came in to us to find a new home. He is the sweetest boy in the cattery and we never had a cross word. Unfortunately when he went to a home with another cat, he demonstrated a strong desire to be the only pet and was returned. He is looking for a home where he will be the only pet with no children. He is a very affectionate, playful boy, a real lap cat with a strong personality who likes to be king of the house.

Sweet Pippin is looking for a home as the only pet where he can be the centre of attention and have the love he deserves. He has previously lived with another cat however they did not get along. He takes a while to trust however he loves his food and is happy to be bribed. He would like a nice calm home where he can come out of his shell in his own time. Bubby has been with her family since she was a little kitten and Tigerr and Zebby are her very handsome sons from two different litters. This family of cats have been dearly loved pets, but unfortunately their dad is not well and their landlord was threatening to evict the family if the cats were not removed. The three cats adore each other and are always curled up together in a furry heap, but if they cannot be homed together, Bubby would like a home where someone is around for most of the day as she loves a lap to curl up on and lots of fuss. Tigerr and Zebby are also lap cats and love lots of fuss and human company. The three cats are looking for a home with no other pets and gentle, older children, the cats are gentle but haven't been around children before. All three cats really enjoy going into the garden but are homely and don't wander. These cats have been loved and are very loving, they have big personalities and will thoroughly enjoy being part of family life.

Squeak is a very sweet cat who spent the first part of her life with an owner who loved her but wasn't very well and so her environment could be quite chaotic. Unfortunately she is now nervous of men and is looking for a very loving home with a patient, gentle woman. After a couple of days of settling in, Squeak has come out to see me and is ridiculously affectionate, giving big kisses and head butts. She will make a really sweet, homely companion for a kind new owner in a home with no other pets. She hasn't met children and is scared of loud noises, so an adult only home would suit her very well, or a home with much older, very gentle children.

A very dear mother and daughter whose mum can no longer afford to look after them. Gutsy is affectionate and sweet and Speedy is a bit more independent. They are both very scared and bewildered at the moment, having lost everything and everyone they know. They would love a home together with no other pets and older children. Once they have settled into their new home they will be sweet companions for loving new owners.

This lovely duo came in with 2 other kittens and are still patiently waiting for their forever home. They are a little nervous especially when people go to touch them but are slowly coming around. They are a young pair (who can go separately - but love the company of other cats) who love causing mischief and playing with their toys. This pair would need a nice safe place to settle in and have an owner who will be patient with them and give them the time to come out of their shells.

Anna was found as a stray with her 2 kittens. She can be a very chatty cat and absolutely LOVES her food (and will often try to swipe it before it's even been put down). She has become extremely affectionate and loves having a fuss.

Nala is a very dear girl who has lived in a busy family home all her life, surrounded by love and affection. Sadly due to a major change in the family's circumstances she has come to Last Chance to look for a very loving forever home. Nala would like to be the only pet, but she can be homed with gentle children 4 yrs and over. She is an affectionate lap cat and enjoys a fuss. Nala has not been outside yet and will need to stay indoors for 8 to 10 weeks before being given the option to start exploring outdoors. Nala is utterly bewildered at the moment, but she is going to make a very lucky family a wonderful pet.

Loki is an affectionate and playful lap cat once he knows a new person, but he has trust issues and is looking for a very brave, patient, kind new owner who will cope with a difficult start. When he is nervous or over-excited Loki bites and scratches very suddenly, and he needs someone who will ignore it completely until he feels safe and knows nothing bad is going to happen to him. Loki lived with his human mum since he was a kittten and has come to us, bewildered and sad after her death to find a new loving home. He needs an adult only home with no other pets. He will be fairly outdoorsy once he is settled in and is likely to bring his lucky owner "gifts". Loki is going to be a really lovely, busy, noisy very playful companion once he has found his paws, he just needs a chance and all support and advice would be given to help him and his new owner to adjust to each other. He and I get on fabulously and I am greeted every morning by a very loving boy. He particularly enjoys sharing my vegan ham sandwiches.

Little Mouse was brought in as a stray, she's very young and is very unsure of the world. Due to her not having any socialisation prior to coming in, she finds being touched very scary and will often lash out and bite out of fear. Tango is another stray who hasn't had much interaction with people. He has been very brave and started taking treats from hands but isn't confident enough to be touched. He will often hiss when you enter his pen but he's just very unsure of people. Tango would benefit from having a quiet, adult only home where he can be left to settle and do his own thing. We haven't been able to test Tango with other cats as he often refuses to leave his bed during the day.

Cotton came to us through no fault of his own. When he first arrived he was understandably very nervous and wouldn't let any of us near him. During his time here, both staff and volunteers have spent time sitting with him and giving him lots of treats and he has improved so much! He still isn't a fan of being touched but is getting braver everyday. Cotton will still need a lot of work with an owner who is patient and in a home with no young kids. He has previously lived with cats before and could potentially live with them again.

Meet Milo who is the chattiest cat in the cattery! Milo came to us after he was being bullied by the other cat in the home. Due to the bullying mainly around feeding time, he has become very excitable about his food and is a bit possessive over his bowls. Milo would really benefit from an adult only home and could live with another calm cat. If you think Milo would make the perfect addition then please pop into our New Romney branch to meet him.

Chloe is an affectionate lap cat whose owner is working long hours and can no longer give her the time and attention she needs. Chloe needs an adult only home and would love a home where she is not left alone for too long. Unfortunately Chloe has proved to be absolutely terrified of other animals and is very aggressive towards them, so she will need to be an only pet. Chloe needs to stay indoors for 6-8 weeks as she has not been outside yet. She is an extremely active cat who enjoys a lot of interactive play and can become frustrated but once she is able to go outside and race around she will burn off some energy and feel much better.

These three young cats have been well socialised in a family home, but having never been anywhere else, they are very fearful in the cattery. They can live with gentle dogs, cats and gentle older children, and once they have settled back into a home, they will do very well. Batman and Katsu (both girls) are particularly bonded and are looking for a very loving home together where they will have company for at least some of the day. They are both lap cats and enjoy a fuss. Herbie is looking for a home with another young cat or kitten so he can have a playmate and someone to cuddle up with. Herbie is less of a lap cat but will happily sit beside someone on the sofa.
