Princess has been massively overlooked since coming into the rescue because she spends most of her time hiding under blankets. She has briefly moved into the staff flats and is an entirely new cat! She's very inquisitive and will often prefer spending her time in the same room as her owner so she can come and ask for pets when she wants them. She is a very young girl who would love to find herself in her forever home where she can be the only pet in the property (she will accept small animals as she often loves to sit and watch them).

If you're looking for a companion to watch nature documentaries with then look no further! Cat loves watching birds on the TV and can be very affectionate on her terms. She will need a quiet, adult only home and could potentially live with another cat, she cannot live with dogs. Come meet Cat at our New Romney branch, we're open Wednesday - Sunday between 11am and 3pm.

Shadow was sadly brought into us as his owners had to move abroad. Shadow likes to be outside in the day so would need a safe home where he can explore. Shadow was scared by the children in the home so now would be better suited to a quiet older children family or a quiet couple. Shadow loved to sleep on his owners bed but the arrival of a new baby meant he would find quieter spaces to sleep and spend his time. Shadow is looking for a loving understanding home.

Chocolate is the biggest of Treacle's kittens, Crystal is also a nice big kitten and the two of them playfight and chase each other endlessly before collapsing together on the nearest soft bed for a deep sleep. They can be homed with very cat friendly dogs and gentle children 5+yrs. The kittens need a home where they will not be left for more than 4 hours in the whole day, and where they will have no access to main or busy roads. These little buddles of fun can't wait to get to their new homes- please come and visit.

Snowey and Mopsa are a very bonded pair of noisy Bengals looking for a very loving home together. Both cats are fairly independent but Snowey is very happy to sit on a lap and Mopsa will on her own terms. Neither cat is keen on being picked up. They love to be outside in the summer but don't go far from home and in the winter they will be found curled up on the sofa together or cuddling in their cosy basket with their electric blanket turned on, yes please! They would like an adult home or one with much older children who can understand that the cats need their own space. The girls have not seen a vet in a very long time before coming to us, so today they have had a full health check and had bloods taken to see if they need help with anything.

A very dear mother and daughter whose mum can no longer afford to look after them. Gutsy is affectionate and sweet and Speedy is a bit more independent. They are both very scared and bewildered at the moment, having lost everything and everyone they know. They would love a home together with no other pets and older children. Once they have settled into their new home they will be sweet companions for loving new owners.

Poor Joe came to us as a stray and in a bit of a state. Regardless of his not so great start to life, he is extremely friendly and very chatty. Joe has had enough of a tough life on the streets and would like a nice home where he can have lots of snacks and head scratches please!

Loki is an affectionate and playful lap cat once he knows a new person, but he has trust issues and is looking for a very brave, patient, kind new owner who will cope with a difficult start. When he is nervous or over-excited Loki bites and scratches very suddenly, and he needs someone who will ignore it completely until he feels safe and knows nothing bad is going to happen to him. Loki lived with his human mum since he was a kittten and has come to us, bewildered and sad after her death to find a new loving home. He needs an adult only home with no other pets. He will be fairly outdoorsy once he is settled in and is likely to bring his lucky owner "gifts". Loki is going to be a really lovely, busy, noisy very playful companion once he has found his paws, he just needs a chance and all support and advice would be given to help him and his new owner to adjust to each other. He and I get on fabulously and I am greeted every morning by a very loving boy. He particularly enjoys sharing my vegan ham sandwiches.

Ollie used to live in a flat where he was getting frustrated at not being able to go outside and took his frustration out on his sister. If he had a house that was big enough and outside space (after being kept in for 6-8 weeks) he could live with another cat. He is a young boy with kitten like energy. He has previously lived with children but has never been around dogs. Ollie is a very chatty boy and loves the sound of his own meow! He is super sweet and affectionate and loves being around people.

Daisy's owner has unfortunately passed away and was being bullied by the new owners cats, so she has found herself here with us. She is very scared and has no idea why her life has changed so drastically lately and just needs time to settle and hopefully we can start to see the lap cat we've been told she is. She is an older lady who would love a nice quiet home where she's the only pet in the property and is given time to adjust.

This sweet pair of boys have come to Last Chance due to no fault of their own. They are a very sweet pair who need some time to settle in. Ollie's nerves can cause him to have urinary issues from time to time, so to reduce his stress levels we think they would be best in a home together where there are no other pets and no young children.

Sadly Susan and Jonathan's beloved mum has become unwell and can no longer look after her pets. The cats are very sweet companions, Jonathan is quite cheeky and confident and Susan is a little shy with strangers, but had a lovely relationship with her mum, which she will be able to do with a new loving owner once she has settled in and gets to know new people. The cats are both lap cats and loved to sleep at the end of their mum's bed. They would like to be the only pets and having lived in a quiet adult home, would be happier in an adult only home or with much older children.

Poor Teddy was found as a stray after being abandoned by his previous owner. He came in with slight eye infection that is currently being treated but could potentially require surgery. Teddy is a lazy boy and often spends his day snoozing on the bed and will purr so loudly when you go to stroke him. He is a super affectionate boy who just wants a nice, quiet home with a nice bed to lay on and lots of snacks.

Rocky and his friend Best Boy have come to Last Chance to find a new home after a change in the family circumstances. They are a very sweet pair who like to sit beside their people and enjoy lots of strokes. They can be homed with cats and dogs, and gentle older children, and love to cuddle up together. These two boys will make really sweet family pets. They were not neutered and haven't been outside yet, but that will be done here and then they can start to go out once they have been established in their new home.

Cotton came to us through no fault of his own. When he first arrived he was understandably very nervous and wouldn't let any of us near him. During his time here, both staff and volunteers have spent time sitting with him and giving him lots of treats and he has improved so much! He still isn't a fan of being touched but is getting braver everyday. Cotton will still need a lot of work with an owner who is patient and in a home with no young kids. He has previously lived with cats before and could potentially live with them again.

Meet Milo who is the chattiest cat in the cattery! Milo came to us after he was being bullied by the other cat in the home. Due to the bullying mainly around feeding time, he has become very excitable about his food and is a bit possessive over his bowls. Milo would really benefit from an adult only home and could live with another calm cat. If you think Milo would make the perfect addition then please pop into our New Romney branch to meet him.

Chloe is an affectionate lap cat whose owner is working long hours and can no longer give her the time and attention she needs. Chloe needs an adult only home and would love a home where she is not left alone for too long. Unfortunately Chloe has proved to be absolutely terrified of other animals and is very aggressive towards them, so she will need to be an only pet. Chloe needs to stay indoors for 6-8 weeks as she has not been outside yet. She is an extremely active cat who enjoys a lot of interactive play and can become frustrated but once she is able to go outside and race around she will burn off some energy and feel much better.

Kitty is our newest addition to the cattery and is finding the adjustment a bit difficult. At the moment he is very fearful and will lash out but hopefully over the next couple of days he will learn to trust us. Kitty found being in a home with other cats quite difficult and so would probably prefer to be the only pet in the home. He will need a home where he will be given time to settle and adjust to his new environment.
