Crystal & Chocolate

Chocolate is the biggest of Treacle's kittens, Crystal is also a nice big kitten and the two of them playfight and chase each other endlessly before collapsing together on the nearest soft bed for a deep sleep. They can be homed with very cat friendly dogs and cats and gentle children 5+yrs. The kittens need a home where they will not be left for more than 4 hours in the whole day, and where they will have no access to main or busy roads.

Baxter was a lost stray and came in to us to find a new home. He is the sweetest boy in the cattery and we never had a cross word. Unfortunately when he went to a home with another cat, he demonstrated a strong desire to be the only pet and was returned. He is looking for a home where he will be the only pet with no children. He is a very affectionate, playful boy, a real lap cat with a strong personality who likes to be king of the house.

Snowey and Mopsa are a very bonded pair of noisy Bengals looking for a very loving home together. Both cats are fairly independent but Snowey is very happy to sit on a lap and Mopsa will on her own terms. Neither cat is keen on being picked up. They love to be outside in the summer but don't go far from home and in the winter they will be found curled up on the sofa together or cuddling in their cosy basket with their electric blanket turned on, yes please! They would like an adult home or one with much older children who can understand that the cats need their own space. The girls have not seen a vet in a very long time before coming to us, so today they have had a full health check and had bloods taken to see if they need help with anything.

A very dear mother and daughter whose mum can no longer afford to look after them. Gutsy is affectionate and sweet and Speedy is a bit more independent. They are both very scared and bewildered at the moment, having lost everything and everyone they know. They would love a home together with no other pets and older children. Once they have settled into their new home they will be sweet companions for loving new owners.

Loki is an affectionate and playful lap cat once he knows a new person, but he has trust issues and is looking for a very brave, patient, kind new owner who will cope with a difficult start. When he is nervous or over-excited Loki bites and scratches very suddenly, and he needs someone who will ignore it completely until he feels safe and knows nothing bad is going to happen to him. Loki lived with his human mum since he was a kittten and has come to us, bewildered and sad after her death to find a new loving home. He needs an adult only home with no other pets. He will be fairly outdoorsy once he is settled in and is likely to bring his lucky owner "gifts". Loki is going to be a really lovely, busy, noisy very playful companion once he has found his paws, he just needs a chance and all support and advice would be given to help him and his new owner to adjust to each other. He and I get on fabulously and I am greeted every morning by a very loving boy. He particularly enjoys sharing my vegan ham sandwiches.

Tango is another stray who hasn't had much interaction with people. He has been very brave and started taking treats from hands but isn't confident enough to be touched. He will often hiss when you enter his pen but he's just very unsure of people. Tango would benefit from having a quiet, adult only home where he can be left to settle and do his own thing. We haven't been able to test Tango with other cats as he often refuses to leave his bed during the day. Tango is great with other cats and could benefit from having another cat in the home to help build confidence.

Unfortunately his landlord will not allow him to keep the girls and so they have come to us to find a loving home of their own. The girls are sweet lap cats, Slinky is particularly cuddly. They love to play and also curl up together for a snooze. These two should be fine with very cat friendly dogs, cats and very gentle older children who are able to give them some time and space to get settled in their new home. Jinny and Slinky should be a very sweet pair of family cats.

Mooney has lived with his family since he was a kitten, but recently a number of new pets have moved in to the neighbouring houses and Mooney has become frightened and terribly unhappy, not feeling safe to go outside. He is a sweet boy who can live with gentle children 4yrs +, but he would like to be the only pet. He never went very far from his home, and he enjoys being outside in the summer and spends more time in the home during the colder weather. He sleeps on the sofa at night and loves cosy, soft places to curl up for a snooze. Mooney loves his toys, especially ones that make a noise and he is a lap cat, who will also sit beside you and he loves a fuss. Mooney is a proper family pet who has just lost everything he knows and loves and he is desperately in need of a new loving family of his very own.

Patch is a very sweet boy who has been living in a busy family home for the last 8 years. Sadly for him, one of the family is allergic to him and he has come to Last Chance to find a new, very loving home. Patch is fairly homely and loves to be cosy, he will get as close to the heat as possible. He isn't really a lap cat, but he loves to rub around people's feet and will sit by your feet when you are sitting down. He also loves to sleep by your feet on the bed at night. Patch would love a home where the children are older so they can understand he will need time and space to get used to his new family. He does get on with cats outside, but he would love a home where he is the only spoilt pet. Patch has been a much loved pet and he will be again for a loving family.

Little old Molly was brought in to us after her owner became unable to give her the care she needs. She is an older lady who needs a nice quiet home where she can gets lots of cuddles. She isn't a fan of other cats and dogs so would prefer to be the only pet in the home, she is understandably a little nervous and very unsure at the moment so may need some time to come out of her shell. Roger and Horace have come to Last Chance after their owner became homeless. They are very sweet boys who have been much loved family pets and can be homed with other cats and children as young as 3 years. The boys are both lap cats and enjoy company and cuddles. They are looking for a very loving, safe home together.

Cotton came to us through no fault of his own. When he first arrived he was understandably very nervous and wouldn't let any of us near him. During his time here, both staff and volunteers have spent time sitting with him and giving him lots of treats and he has improved so much! He still isn't a fan of being touched but is getting braver everyday. Cotton will still need a lot of work with an owner who is patient and in a home with no young kids. He has previously lived with cats before and could potentially live with them again.

Meet Milo who is the chattiest cat in the cattery! Milo came to us after he was being bullied by the other cat in the home. Due to the bullying mainly around feeding time, he has become very excitable about his food and is a bit possessive over his bowls. Milo would really benefit from an adult only home and could live with another calm cat. If you think Milo would make the perfect addition then please pop into our New Romney branch to meet him.

Chloe is an affectionate lap cat whose owner is working long hours and can no longer give her the time and attention she needs. Chloe needs an adult only home and would love a home where she is not left alone for too long. Unfortunately Chloe has proved to be absolutely terrified of other animals and is very aggressive towards them, so she will need to be an only pet. Chloe needs to stay indoors for 6-8 weeks as she has not been outside yet. She is an extremely active cat who enjoys a lot of interactive play and can become frustrated but once she is able to go outside and race around she will burn off some energy and feel much better.
