Shadow was sadly brought into us as his owners had to move abroad. Shadow likes to be outside in the day so would need a safe home where he can explore. Shadow was scared by the children in the home so now would be better suited to a quiet older children family or a quiet couple. Shadow loved to sleep on his owners bed but the arrival of a new baby meant he would find quieter spaces to sleep and spend his time. Shadow is looking for a loving understanding home.

Chocolate is the biggest of Treacle's kittens, Crystal is also a nice big kitten and the two of them playfight and chase each other endlessly before collapsing together on the nearest soft bed for a deep sleep. They can be homed with very cat friendly dogs and gentle children 5+yrs. The kittens need a home where they will not be left for more than 4 hours in the whole day, and where they will have no access to main or busy roads. These little buddles of fun can't wait to get to their new homes- please come and visit.

Marie has been returned to Last Chance after not getting along with the other cat in the home. Marie would love to be the center of attention and needs to be the only pet in an adult only home. Once she trusts you she can be very affectionate but it can sometimes take a bit of time. The kittens can be homed with very cat friendly dogs and very gentle children 5+yrs. Maple is a little shy and needs some time to get to know new people, but she is very sweet. Snowey and Mopsa are a very bonded pair of noisy Bengals looking for a very loving home together. Both cats are fairly independent but Snowey is very happy to sit on a lap and Mopsa will on her own terms. Neither cat is keen on being picked up. They love to be outside in the summer but don't go far from home and in the winter they will be found curled up on the sofa together or cuddling in their cosy basket with their electric blanket turned on, yes please! They would like an adult home or one with much older children who can understand that the cats need their own space. The girls have not seen a vet in a very long time before coming to us, so today they have had a full health check and had bloods taken to see if they need help with anything.

A very dear mother and daughter whose mum can no longer afford to look after them. Gutsy is affectionate and sweet and Speedy is a bit more independent. They are both very scared and bewildered at the moment, having lost everything and everyone they know. They would love a home together with no other pets and older children. Once they have settled into their new home they will be sweet companions for loving new owners.

Poor Joe came to us as a stray and in a bit of a state. Regardless of his not so great start to life, he is extremely friendly and very chatty. Joe has had enough of a tough life on the streets and would like a nice home where he can have lots of snacks and head scratches please!

Loki is an affectionate and playful lap cat once he knows a new person, but he has trust issues and is looking for a very brave, patient, kind new owner who will cope with a difficult start. When he is nervous or over-excited Loki bites and scratches very suddenly, and he needs someone who will ignore it completely until he feels safe and knows nothing bad is going to happen to him. Loki lived with his human mum since he was a kittten and has come to us, bewildered and sad after her death to find a new loving home. He needs an adult only home with no other pets. He will be fairly outdoorsy once he is settled in and is likely to bring his lucky owner "gifts". Loki is going to be a really lovely, busy, noisy very playful companion once he has found his paws, he just needs a chance and all support and advice would be given to help him and his new owner to adjust to each other. He and I get on fabulously and I am greeted every morning by a very loving boy. He particularly enjoys sharing my vegan ham sandwiches.

This sweet pair of boys have come to Last Chance due to no fault of their own. They are a very sweet pair who need some time to settle in. Ollie's nerves can cause him to have urinary issues from time to time, so to reduce his stress levels we think they would be best in a home together where there are no other pets and no young children.

A very sweet girl who has been given to Last Chance for rehoming due to a change in her owner's circumstances. She has had a fairly quiet life, but is loving and curious. Toffee isn't a big fan of being picked up, but she will sleep on the bed. She is homely and will make a very sweet companion in an adult only home with no other pets. Toffee has lived with one very loving owner since she was a kitten and has been a very much loved pet.

Little old Molly was brought in to us after her owner became unable to give her the care she needs. She is an older lady who needs a nice quiet home where she can gets lots of cuddles. They are very sweet boys who have been much loved family pets and can be homed with other cats and children as young as 3 years. The boys are both lap cats and enjoy company and cuddles. Cotton came to us through no fault of his own. When he first arrived he was understandably very nervous and wouldn't let any of us near him. During his time here, both staff and volunteers have spent time sitting with him and giving him lots of treats and he has improved so much! He still isn't a fan of being touched but is getting braver everyday. Cotton will still need a lot of work with an owner who is patient and in a home with no young kids. He has previously lived with cats before and could potentially live with them again.

Meet Milo who is the chattiest cat in the cattery! Milo came to us after he was being bullied by the other cat in the home. Due to the bullying mainly around feeding time, he has become very excitable about his food and is a bit possessive over his bowls. Milo would really benefit from an adult only home and could live with another calm cat. If you think Milo would make the perfect addition then please pop into our New Romney branch to meet him.

Chloe is an affectionate lap cat whose owner is working long hours and can no longer give her the time and attention she needs. Chloe needs an adult only home and would love a home where she is not left alone for too long. Unfortunately Chloe has proved to be absolutely terrified of other animals and is very aggressive towards them, so she will need to be an only pet. Chloe needs to stay indoors for 6-8 weeks as she has not been outside yet. She is an extremely active cat who enjoys a lot of interactive play and can become frustrated but once she is able to go outside and race around she will burn off some energy and feel much better.
